In Celebration of Harry Houdini’s Birthday T.A.G. Inquires – Magic or Illusion? Teens are invited to a night of prestidigitation including card tricks by Maury, magical snacks and a possibly great and powerful wizard! Friday, March 24th doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for a magical night of fun! So join T.A.G. and celebrate illusion!

Scheduling for next year:
Due to the snow days before break, we have kept the scheduling portal open. If you have not yet completed your course requests for next year, please do so ASAP. We will close the request form on Friday.

News from Mr. McClory:
Junior girls seeking a scholarship for a great leadership experience have a few more days to apply for American Legion's Girl's State. They should be completed and submitted to counselors by Thursday. This full scholarship will cover all travel and living expenses for this program lasting June 3 to June 9. Applications can be picked up in the counseling center. Sophomores or juniors interested in a science program giving college credit at University of New Hampshire near Boston can get information from counselors and should apply this week. Sophomores in careers class will be taking the Workkeys Test in Careers Class on Thurs and Friday. Those taking careers on line or planning to take it on line in the future can ask to join one of Mrs. Machado's classes to satisfy this graduation requirement for the Class of 2019 and forward. Girls wanting to earn a $2000 scholarship can apply for the Fourth of July Queen Contest. Applications are available in the counseling center. Please get your applications in early! University of Montana has creative writing or multi media workshops available this summer for any high school students interested in earning college credit. See counselors for information.

Last call for ACT test!
Any juniors wanting to prepare for college admission next fall have until Friday March 24 to sign up for the last ACT of the school year. Seniors wanting the Alaska Performance Scholarship have this last chance to take it as well.
